While it's prophylactic to assume that they're certain to talk about the next downloadable kombatant (sorry) at some bespeak this week, nobody at NetherRealm or WB has issued whatsoever sort of official argument on how any of their games will fare in the transition to next-generation consoles. Only considering the PlayStation 5 will play most PS4 games and the Xbox Series S and Ten will exist fully backwards compatible, information technology'd be surprising for them not to detail how games would fare in the transition to adjacent-gen.
It's been a while since the last content update for the game back in May withMortal Kombat Aftermath, a story expansion that picked up after where the original game's story left off. Information technology too introduced the terminal new character for the game, RoboCop.
While there hasn't been any official word on which characters volition and won't make information technology into the game outside of cheeky teases from Ed Boon, multiple data miners in theMortal Kombatkommunity (I'm not actually pitiful) claim that Pelting, the highly-requested Mileena, and John Rambo from the Rambomovies would exist entering the Mortal Kombat Tournament.
